Our Marina Life vs Private Dock Life

At Lovinggood Landing we have a very rare amenity.

What makes Lovinggood so unique is the rare relationship we share with a year-round deep water, full service marina on Lake Allatoona. A private paved path connects our adorable homes to Victoria Harbor Marina in Cherokee County, GA. This path is a glorious, serene, winding trail that delivers a nature experience normally hard to find. It's accessible for every one of our 53 homes, and also serves as a source of recreation and exercise for our residents.

Connecting to the water... AND YEAR-ROUND BOATING!

Because of our private paved path to Victoria Harbor Marina, many of our residents keep a boat in a covered slip year-round. Along with access to convenient and fun extras, like boat launch ramps, trailer storage, and live music-filled sunsets at the marina's Sunset Bar and Grill, the marina life offers numerous other measurable advantages that make our boating life arguably easier than owning a private dock on this lake. This is an actual photo of the private docks in the cove directly behind Lovinggood Landing. The footpaths are regulated and patrolled by the US Army Corp of Engineers. These are unpaved dirt paths and are often many 10ths of a mile from the home. As well, the paths are legal to use by all lake visitors or local foot traffic. They're not private paths. But the biggest drawback about these docks is that the majority of them sit on dirt 5-6 months of every year, making them unusable during this time.

To put the icing on this amazing and unique relationship with the marina, Lovinggood Landing leases our very own private double-decker party end-cap at the end of G-Dock. This has always been since our neighborhood was built in 1998. This end-cap is used by the HOA for neighborhood parties, by individual members for private parties, and by any member who wishes to pick up or drop off friends and family while on the lake. It's also a popular fishing spot for our neighborhood anglers. And just by living in Lovinggood Landing, you're entitled to your own marina private gate card for automobile access as well.

Deeper access to nature via hiking trails.

As if all of that weren't enough, Lovinggood Landing also offers even deeper access to nature and recreation via many wooded hiking trails directly behind our neighborhood, and accessible via our private paved path. We are surrounded by pristine forrest carved with foot trails that lead to the stunning, glistening shores of Lake Allatoona.
